Responding to the Opioid Epidemic

Leveraging Care Integration in the Health Center Setting

  • Introduction: Sea Mar Community Health Center, Northwest Regional Primary Care Association, and the Washington Association for Community Health come together to offer two full days of training targeting primary care providers, and mental health clinicians, to address the whole spectrum of opioid disorders.

This will include best practices for the treatment of pain, managing patients on chronic opioid therapy, and treating opioid use disorder in the health center setting. The conference takes place at Seattle Renaissance Hilton A & C Center.

This integrated practice training will have two breakout tracks geared towards primary care and behavioral health. 

Also note that this training conference will meet the Washington State CME requirements for physicians, ARNPs, and PAs to prescribe opioids effective January 1st, 2019. It will also meet the deadline for this training requirement of December 31st, 2019.

This training will offer 7.0 CME, CNE, NASW CEU credits per day.
