Coffee with Eowyn Ivey

Whatcom READS welcomes author Eowyn Ivey to Whatcom Community College’s Heiner Theater to discuss her novel, To the Bright Edge of the World, with a Q&A to follow. Enjoy coffee/tea and light refreshments at this FREE event.

Set in the first decades after the United States purchased the Alaska Territory, To the Bright Edge of the World features rich descriptions of the Alaskan wild, a compelling adventure story, and a fascinating glimpse at the burgeoning fields of naturalism and photography in the late 19th century. Eowyn Ivey is a Western Washington University alumna and the author of the New York Times bestseller and Pulitzer Prize finalist, The Snow Child.
