The Intercultural Services department invites you to join us for a screening of Ava DuVernay's 2014 film, Selma. The film captures critical events in the Civil Rights Movement, centering around the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (played by David Oyelowo), leading to the signing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
Admission is $2 or free with an Orca ID card. Popcorn and snacks will be available.
