University Transfer
Whatcom’s most popular program is the university transfer program. The Associate in Arts and Sciences degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university to complete their bachelor’s degree. Housing Information
Students 17 years and older can live in on-campus housing in a state-of-the art residential facility. Students under 17 are required to live with local homestay families.

There are bi-weekly meetings for students to give feedback on activities and food that will be at Orca Day on June 10, 2026. Your voice and insights are welcome, and essential, for making the long-standing tradition of Orca Day a welcoming event for all WCC Orcas!

What is Orca Day?
Orca Day is the annual end of the academic year celebration, with all the ASWCC Clubs & Organizations hosting activities, food trucks, and more fun! Orca day is June 10, 2026!
What are POD Parties?
The purpose of POD Parties (Planning Orca Day) is to include the ASWCC (Associated Students of Whatcom Community College) and gather feedback on the process to plan Orca Day. Students can also sign up to volunteer on the Food Committee, Marketing Committee, and Activities Committee.
