DESCRIPTION:<div data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)" data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">We invite you to join the Simpson Intercultural Center for our upcoming&nbsp;Talkin'&nbsp;History&nbsp;event.&nbsp;Talkin’&nbsp;History&nbsp;is a programming series intended to highlight the importance of knowing our roots and understanding the historical causes for why things are the way they are.&nbsp;To better understand our current reality, we must engage with the past and consider which stories are being told, which ones are not, and how that shapes our collective memory.&nbsp;Our aim is to bring to the campus community historical narratives that have been underrepresented, obscured, or misused.</div><div data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"></div><div data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Our next Talkin’&nbsp;History&nbsp;event will be led by River Carter, Intercultural Center Peer Navigator and founder of the ASWCC Native and Indigenous Student Union.
