WCC offers classes this fall specially tailored for adult learners

Bellingham, Wash. – Whatcom Community College’s Office of Transitional Learning offers GED preparation, English Language Learner, and high school completion classes for adults. Classes begin Sept. 24 and are just $25 a quarter. Pre-registration is required, so please call 360.383.3060 or stop by the Transitional Learning office on WCC’s campus in Cascade Hall 167. Se habla español. Parking is free at WCC.

English Language Learner (ELL)

WCC offers classes to all adults who want to improve their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English.

6:30-8:50 p.m.

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

WCC also offers classes for adults who are interested in improving their reading, writing and math skills to prepare for the GED and/or college placement exams. Online options are available.

Adult High School Completion (HSC) - Online

WCC offers a fully online option for adults who did not graduate from high school but want to earn a diploma. This is a competency-based high school diploma pathway that is tailored for adult learners and includes recognition and credit for skills gained through life experience.
