WCC students and alumni can apply for available jobs positions online now
Employers can recruit qualified candidates through WCC’s new online platform
Bellingham, Wash. – Whatcom Community College’s Career and Transfer Center has a new online platform for local, regional and national employers to post employment and internship openings. WCCPathways, a career management system, can help employers find qualified candidates for positions they need filled. It also supports students and alumni with work-based learning opportunities and connections. Employers are invited to register their agency into the WCCPathways system and immediately post job and internship openings.
“We are excited to share a new automated system for employment services that WCC is using to connect local and regional agencies with students and alumni,” said Amy Riedel, Associate Director for Student Success & Career Pathways.
WCC students and alumni will be able to apply for positions that are published in WCCPathways and can upload their resumes and application materials. The online platform is available for employers and potential employees at www.whatcom.edu/WCCPathways. Virtual job fairs are planned for the summer featuring available job openings program-specific opportunities. Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org or 360.383.3055.
A webinar featuring work-based learning opportunities will be held Wednesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Participants will hear from recent WCC graduates, business leaders, and the College’s Dean for Workforce Education Tonya Wagner on how to partner for high impact learning opportunities and internships.
