Teaching and mentoring others has always been a part of Gail's life. As a speech-language pathologist, Gail has worked with students and educators in multiple settings including school districts, hospitals and in the university setting.

Gail began her career in 1990 as a speech-language pathologist working in school districts in Whatcom and Skagit counties. She taught at Western WA University in the Communication Sciences Department and was a clinical supervisor in addition to teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes. She now devotes her time to writing historical fiction.

Gail enjoys time with her large family. Gardening and cooking are particular interests as well as world travel. She is the author of five award winning historical fiction novels and devotes as much time as possible to writing and marketing her books and connecting with other authors.
