Jennifer is passionate about the natural world, well-being, writing & other creative expressions. She loves guiding her students to express themselves through these multidisciplinary pursuits as well! She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Studies, preceded by an M.A. in Adult Education. Jennifer is a longtime member of the Society for Human Ecology, the Wilderness Guides Council, and other scholarly organizations. Her current professional work is grounded in Spiritual Ecology, interfaith climate justice initiatives, as well as a variety of creative modalities.
Jennifer is an avid hiker, loves the natural world, and spends her leisure time photographing, writing about, and painting the landscapes through which she roams. Jennifer also loves to travel and read.
