Whatcom Community College creates real value for our community. We develop a skilled workforce, provide employee training for upgrading skills, and employ almost 500 faculty and staff. We invest in quality construction projects on campus that provide local jobs, and build our local and regional economy through dynamic partnerships.  Education is a positive and shared value that lifts up our entire community.

We partner with local employers, especially those who need to enhance their employees’ skills. This includes customized training, continuing education classes, and adult basic education. We also offer internships and service learning options with local business partners. Our professional technical advisory committees ensure our curriculum and skills stay relevant.
