Whatcom Community College received federal funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide emergency grants to students whose life, education, and financial stability has been impacted by COVID-19.
When you submit your application, you will also be considered for funding from other sources you may have applied for in the past, like WCC’s Orca Student Success Fund, the Student Emergency Assistance Grant (SEAG), and community donations from the WCC Foundation.
We cannot guarantee your entire request will be funded, however we will work hard to address your needs.
Apply for emergency funds using our online application. You will automatically be considered for all funding sources we currently have access to. Most students say the application takes about 15 minutes to complete.
You will need to create an account, unless you applied for emergency funds spring quarter. Please reach out to WCC Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have trouble creating or accessing an account.
You can apply for emergency funds once each quarter. The priority deadline for summer quarter emergency funds is Sunday, July 12 at 11:59PM. We will award applicants who submit by the deadline first. If we have additional funds, we will provide additional grants.
