How do I pay fees?

  1. Log into ctcLink (https://myaccount.ctclink.us/). For best results, use a desktop browser, not the mobile site.
  2. Click on “Financials." This may appear as a credit-card icon on the left of the screen 
  3. Click “What I Owe”
  4. Click “Make a Payment”

If you have any trouble, you can pay over the phone by calling the College Cashier 360.383.3363

If it is after the payment due date and your account has a block, the block will be removed the morning of the next business day after your payment.

If you pay more than a month after the due date, you may need to contact us to get the block removed. rstart@whatcom.edu 

Why do I have to pay fees?

Running Start costs $179.80 per quarter for a full-time student. Fees are lower if you are part-time. Taking certain classes can cause your bill to be higher.

What is the due date to pay?

The due date is based on when you enroll in classes. See the Registration Calendar for due dates for the current quarter and upcoming quarters. WCC Registration Calendar.

What happens if I don't pay by the due date? 

A block would be placed on your account, preventing any future enrollment at WCC until the bill is paid.

  • You could be dropped from any classes that are not eligible for Running Start funding. Ineligible classes are numbered 99 or below. (Math 97, 98, 99, or English 95). A spot is not held for you, so it may be difficult to re-enroll.
  • Regular Running Start classes (those numbered 100 or higher) would not be dropped, even if you missed the payment deadline. But future enrollment would still be blocked.
  • This information is only relevant to students in the Running Start program. Other student populations may have different payment policies.
