Whatcom’s most popular program is the university transfer program. The Associate in Arts and Sciences degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university to complete their bachelor’s degree. Whatcom’s International Programs staff are experts in advising students on transfer to top universities throughout the U.S.
Transfer Admissions Guarantees
Whatcom Community College has established Transfer Admission Guarantees with several well-known universities across the country to make your transfer process as simple as possible. These universities will guarantee admission for international students transferring from Whatcom Community College after earning the associate's degree and meeting specific admission criteria.
During the application process, international students can request to receive both an admission letter from WCC and a Transfer Admission Guarantee from the university they have selected from the list below.
Please note:
- Whatcom Community College graduates have transferred directly to many other top universities across the country that are not on this list.
- You will not be required to transfer to the university that offers you a Transfer Admission Guarantee. You may transfer to any university of your choice to which you are admitted.
- Students must complete their Whatcom associate’s degree with the required GPA in order to fulfill the transfer university’s admission guarantee.
- Transfer Admissions Guarantees do not ensure that a student will be admitted to a particular major.
- Our partner universities offer a varying array of majors, academic programs and entrance requirements. Please click on the links below to find out more about each university's offerings.
