Welcome back!

We’re excited you’ve decided to continue your studies at WCC! The resources below will help you pick right up where you left off.

Advising

We encourage you to meet with an academic advisor, who will help you choose classes that maximize your progress towards graduation. Advisors are available to meet in-person or online during drop-in advising hours or by appointment. To schedule an advising appointment, please call Orca Central at 360.383.3080 or use Navigate360.

Transferring Credits to WCC

If you’ve earned college credits at another school since you last attended WCC, please bring a copy of your unofficial transcript to your advising appointment so the Advisor can factor those credits into your degree plan.

Please also follow these steps to have your transfer credits officially applied toward your WCC degree requirements:

  1. Order an official transcript from your previous colleges(s) to be sent to:

    Whatcom Community College
    237 West Kellogg Road
    Bellingham, WA 98226

    or graduation@whatcom.edu

  2. Submit a Transfer Credit Evaluation Request form in person to Orca Central, or email to graduation office Graduation@whatcom.edu

Financial Aid

This video shows the steps to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form.

If you are planning to start classes in Summer 2026, please complete the 2025-26 FAFSA. If you will start classes in Fall 2026 or later, please complete the 2026-27 FAFSA.

If you are not a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, you can complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) instead of the FAFSA.

We’re happy to help you complete your FAFSA or WAFSA. Please call Orca Central at 360.383.3080 to schedule an appointment with our financial aid counselor.

New Student Orientation

WCC is constantly evolving and some things may have changed since you were last enrolled, so we welcome you to attend a new student orientation to learn about the current processes on campus.

If our in-person Orientations don't work for your schedule, you can access our online New Student Orientation on Canvas at any time.
