Are you taking classes while navigating a conviction history? Misdemeanors and felonies can impact your options and it is good to meet with an advisor who can walk you through the considerations. Whatcom Community College is an active supporter of assisting with this transition. From the Community Partnership for Transition Solutions county-wide conversations to local WorkSource Fresh Start workshops the College is here to connect you to resources along the way. The College is also a partner with the local Work Release program. Contact your parole or community corrections officer to schedule an appointment with a re-entry specialist about accessing college.

Our re-entry specialist will review on campus support. We will also review your interests, background and goals with a guided pathway approach to assess how your investment in education will lead toward employment.
